We produce highly creative, yet effective campaigns; owning the process from the strategic planning phase through production, placement, and analysis.

Conversation uses evolved thinking to combine effective, traditional means of reaching consumers with new, creative techniques. The more touchpoints in a campaign, the more impactful the message. We embrace the old and strategically use it to leverage the new.

Every piece of the plan is done in-house – research, strategy, design, development – leaving no restrictions to create the best mix of media for each brand’s message.

  • Frank O’Brien


    As founder of Conversation, Frank has been largely responsible for setting the strategic direction of the agency. Prior to starting Conversation, Frank designed, developed, and executed a number of high profile campaigns for various Fortune 500 clients while with Deutsch, Inc. and MRY (then Mr. Youth) . While working under the tutelage of some of the greatest minds in the industry, Frank realized his desire to create a completely holistic agency in 2008, thus starting Conversation.

    Despite his experience, Frank remains a student of the industry, always looking for insights that lead to successful strategies to put him ahead of the curve.

  • Mimi Lin

    Chief Operating Officer

    Mimi has over a decade of experience executing campaigns for clients throughout a plethora of industries. Since joining Conversation in 2010, the agency has continued to experience exponential growth under her leadership, as she ensures client objectives are achieved and deadlines are met. Her passion and knowledge of the creative industry positions her well to understand the shifting needs of clients in a world of constant consumer change and demand.

    Mimi worked with agencies the likes of Giant Step, Inc., Mr. Youth, and Iris Worldwide prior to working with the Conversation team.

  • David Orellana

    Director of Design

    As head of Creative at Conversation, David has played an integral role in the development of the agency’s persona and characteristics. He was one of the first five hires at Conversation, and took a starring role in the agency’s winning appearance on AMC’s series “The Pitch.” (popchips – Season 1 Episode 4.) David leads a team of talented designers and copywriters, ensuring creative is both strategic and visually best in class in order to exceed client goals and objectives.

    Director of Development

    As an artist of the digital world, Chris creates masterpieces for the web. With a dream of becoming an artist as a child, he adapted his talents to the evolving world and has been designing and developing websites for over 12 years for corporate, academic, and non-profit projects. Chris’ team pushes the boundaries of “multi-media.” A digital experience is no longer just web. Chris ensures that all vehicles are covered (web, mobile, social apps), then works with our creative and client teams to fill the content – audio and visual.
