The AVA Digital Awards showcase industry work that encompasses interactive and engaging components. Conversation’s three selections displayed the ability to encourage user action while exhibiting a sleek, streamlined interface.
“Digital campaigns are heavily focused on creating consumer engagement and prompting action,” said Founder, Frank O’Brien. “These specific projects demonstrated digital creativity that encouraged participation from the user.”
Congratulations to the teams that produced the below campaigns and to the recognized clients!
dressbarn’s “Paint the Country Pink” Takes Gold
Centered around Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dressbarn’s “Paint the Country Pink” campaign focused on showing the retailer’s commitment to promoting women’s causes. The campaign’s microsite encouraged visitors to virtually paint their state to show support for those affected by breast cancer. As more users painted, states became more pink on the map. Users could also easily spread the word by sharing through their social networks. For each paint stroke, dressbarn donated $1 to the American Cancer Society. The website received the Gold Award in the Business to Consumer Website category.
“Gift of Trust” with the Metro New York Better Business Bureau Gets a Nod
Receiving an Honorable Mention by the AVA Awards was the Metro New York Better Business Bureau Foundation’s public service campaign, the “Gift of Trust.” The televised public service announcement aired nationally during programming the likes of Live! With Kelly & Michael and on Oprah’s TV Network, OWN. The radio spot was featured on several prominent stations, including WCBS-FM, 1010WINS and WFAN. It encouraged viewers and listeners to use the BBB’s free, accredited charity information services at ny.give.org so they could feel confident about donating to their chosen charities.
