Dick’s Sporting Goods has shifted their efforts to their female market, as many brands have begun to do since the start of 2015, such as Nike, and Under Armor. The Athleisure trend is on the rise and women around the nation, fitness fanatics or not, are sporting their athletic clothing. Dick’s wants to make women a more prominent feature in their marketing efforts, inviting athletes and non-athletes alike to shop their apparel.
