State of the Agency – Conversation’s first quarter First Monday involved a look back at the agency’s history, an update of where the agency is now, and offered a glimpse of what’s in store for the rest of the year. Founder Frank O’Brien led the charge as he offered a visual presentation that looked back on Conversation’s humble beginnings in 2008 and mapped out a path to today and beyond. It is all part of our revamped First Monday program, which now places a stronger focus on better understanding ourselves as an agency in order to better serve our clients. 2014’s second first Monday is slated for April 7.
New Faces – Conversation would like to welcome the two newest members of our team. With experience in both advertising and public relations, Shar-De (“Shar”) Ricketts joins the agency’s Client Services team after managing accounts for GMC and Buick with Martin Retail Group. She has also worked on accounts for DuPont, Maybelline, and Facebook. Conversation’s Development Team has gained more support with the addition of Dmitry Troshin. Dmitry, who was born in Ukraine and speaks fluent Russian, self-taught himself web development as a teenager before earning a formal degree.
Movin’ On Up – Conversation announced three promotions this past month. Allison Amato and Allison Klein – the heart and soul of the Client Services department – have been promoted to Account Supervisors after displaying the exceptional ability to lead both fellow team members and client initiatives. Meanwhile, Mimi Lin has made the move from Managing Director to Chief Operating Officer of Conversation. Mimi has been a part of the agency for several years now, and has seen Conversation move through various stages of growth. In each instance, Mimi has been an integral piece to Conversation’s moving forward.
