First Mondays: Starting in 2013, Conversation instituted First Mondays. Literally taking place on the first Monday of each month, these are days in which Conversation team members participate in agency-wide innovation sessions. During these sessions, the team collaborates in continuing education, team building, cross department exercises and process reviews. The goal is to encourage creative aspirations, leading to enhanced solutions to better serve agency clients and partners.
PRSA Event: On January 24, Frank O’Brien returned to his hometown of West Haven, Connecticut to speak to the Public Relations Society of America’s Southern Connecticut Chapter. The current state of media, the evolving relationship between advertising and public relations, and entrepreneurial advice were all topics discussed.
JUMP Conference: This past month, Conversation’s Bill McKeveny and Alex Realmuto attended Econsultancy’s JUMP Conference at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York. The event’s seminars ranged from theories about calculating ROI when executing multichannel campaigns, to sharing a case study on a campaign that was fully integrated with digital tactics. Bill and Alex both expressed their pleasure in seeing how closely aligned the digital trends outlined at the conference embody the “New Traditional” model firsthand.
