Sprint Co-Branding with RadioShack
RadioShack often gives us the sense of a blast to the past. The store that used to be the ultimate go-to for tech needs has struggled over the past few years to keep up with the ever evolving tech/digital space. They have filed for bankruptcy but are closing a deal with Sprint that will allow them to still thrive in at least 1,750 locations. Sprint will assume the storefronts and marketing materials in terms of branding, but RadioShack will operate as a company within the company in several of the stores. This partnership will likely increase traffic for both brands and will be mutually beneficial. Its a win-win and we wish them all the best in the future!
