We seem to have gotten caught up in the trend of labeling new generations as they naturally emerge every 20 years or so. This may have worked in the past as each generation had new specific ties to historical world events or economic times, but we may want to re-consider how we label the current youngest generation “generation z” and the generations yet to come.
